‘A blur to the memories of both the priest and the girl, they remained in their mesmerized states. It was as though they were puppets, and the puppeteer picked them from their place only to insert them in the cutouts of a new scene.
The new scene was composed of four blank walls of grey that were once white, occupied only by a bed whose springs had lost their life long ago.
There was no attempt to seduce, no awkward moment between clientele. There were only the orders presented to her in the voice of a man who preached gentleness, in a voice that contained anything but. “Undress. Now.” She did.’

Here is the place to see the books I have reviewed already, keeping them in alphabetical order, along with their rating of 1-5 stars. It’s a simple enough system:
1 Star means I didn’t enjoy it whatsoever
2 Stars means that there was something to like in there, and for whatever reason, it just didn’t capture me
3 Stars is average. It’s a good book, not great, perhaps flawed, or something that just kept it back.
4 Stars means that there is a huge potential in the book, maybe a few things here and there, in my opinion, that would stop it from being a full 5
and of course, 5 Stars means it’s a book I’d highly recommend.
